Christmas is an important time for charities. People generally, despite the expense of the festive period, tend to give more to good causes.
Using a case study, Samaritans wanted to send out a message to regular supporters and prospects that Christmas is their busiest time. They took over 193,000 calls the previous year and they wanted to remind people that the phones never stop ringing, no matter what time of year it is.
We developed a mail pack, based on a moving case study, which also incorporated an engagement device in the form of gift tags.
The case study centres around a young girl whose father committed suicide before Christmas. Every year she phones Samaritans for support.
Donors were invited to write encouraging messages of support to those who are going through difficult times.
